A rebalanced market has opportunities for sellers and buyers

In last month’s newsletter, I noted that we were transitioning into a more balanced market following almost a year of
pandemic-influenced extremes. It seems safe to say that rebalancing is now fully underway. As in July, August saw
slowing price growth, a drop in new listings, and less intense bidding wars. Though Toronto remains an expensive
city in which to purchase real estate, relative to the spring, it’s becoming easier for buyers to get a foot in the door.
